Girls Coaches Bio

Jesse Bowles:

This is Coach Bowles' first year in charge of the Varsity Girls team. He coached the Warriors Girls JV team during the previous two years, as well as being the assistant Varsity coach. Coach Bowles has also been the assistant coach at club soccer select level for the last five years and his Cobb FC U-16 Lady Chiefs team is currently ranked 7th in Georgia.

Prior to coaching soccer, Coach Bowles was the Warriors Girls Varsity Volleyball coach and over the course of 21 years of coaching, his teams won over 200 games and had 16 winning seasons.

 

John Speeney:

This is Coach Speeney's first year of coaching soccer at North Cobb, however he has an extensive background in coaching girls' soccer. Coach Speeney was the Girls Varsity Head Coach at South Cobb High School for 7 years and likewise at Centennial High School for one year.

Coach Speeney is a graduate of East Stroudsburg University and the University of Georgia and has been teaching at the high school level for the last 13 years.

 

Payton Millinor:

Coach Millinor was raised in Cobb County where she graduated from the Walker School in 2000. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s degree in English Education. While at UGA she was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority, and a founding member and coach of the Red Hotz competitive dance team at UGA.

This will be Coach Millinor’s second year at North Cobb, where she is proud to serve as the Head Support Squad Cheerleading Coach, JV Girls Soccer Coach, and as a 2009 class sponsor. This is Coach Millinor's 2nd year as a soccer coach. She also has 12 years experience playing soccer, and has served as a referree.
